Which is better for google to crawl conveniently?

 

They are the same but if you happen to do alot of mistakes typing html,then i guess the wordpress blog is better.

 

I think a site because it is more customizable.

 

Wordpress can be customized as you wish if you know some coding basics. Also there are so many widgets and plugins available. So you can accomplish your tasks very easier and faster.

 

for me a website because you can create you own unique domain easily and you can include keywords on it, unlike in wordpress your blog will have .wordpress.com extension and it's tough to look for a domain there which is not yet used.

 

Google loves blogs, but if your site does everything blogs do that Google likes, they should do equally well. That means:

1) Good internal linking structure with keywords
2) frequently updated content
3) rss submission
4) categories and tags

 

based on my experienced websites are more advantage to search engine compare with blogs when you search for specific keywords, that's why some of the blog owners are buying their own domain for their blogs to get rank well on google. But if you really good in SEO you can easily got the rank # 1 without buying a domain.

 

Well, these all are same but you need to make them better I mean if you know that how to promote these on google then all are better for you and google

 

ofcource a website is better to optimize, and in top of serp's amount of websites are more than blogs.
Though, if your content is changes frequently blog would be the best choice for the same.

In my personal experience static sites are better for SEO.

 

Both are important. The main thing updation. how frequently you are updating your site or blog. Normally blog is updating more than website so its crawling ratio is high than website. so we people are understand its batter than website. its not like that

I agree on your opinion. Static site is better compare to dynamic. Most of site's are dynamic.

 

I agree with you blog and website are important. Blog is just like the mirror site of your main site. But in terms of crawling, blog like blogger can easily index by the search engine

You can download wordpress and put it under your own domain. Wordpress also has permalink which will make your site static with nice search engine friendly URLs, plus there are many plugins that made wordpress best in SEO such as "All in one SEO" "XML Sitemap" and more. I think wordpress is much better than static HTML.

 

Wordpress generally are not SEO friendly however with new plug ins coming out and better themes the SEO problem will probably be eradicated.

At this moment in time i would say that a website would be better for SEO, however the time it takes to update a website is much longer and practicality wise is low compared to a blog.

However i feel you have more control over a website rather than a blog site, and do not feel as limited.

Although i think he is correct, wordpress is improving however at this moment in time i feel websites are much better for SEO. However you can pay a professional to optimise a wordpress theme for you.
