I last heard that Clickbank didn't want OTO's?

EVERYONE uses an OTO, at least the smart marketers. If Clickbank has changed their rules or something that would be the dumbest move ever on their side, because OTO's are known to convert in like 30% --a lot of business for CB too.

 

Ah I got it - One Time Offer. For some reason I hadn't seen that acronym before.

And yes I agree about the one time offer upsells. I am definitely planning on adding one to my product as soon as I get to it (after about 20 other things on my "to do" list.) Some people have more money to spend - might as well let them spend it!

No one noticed my comment about 30% freaking conversion rates? The cool part is that it's true. Once they have their credit card out they go like "Heck! I might as well get this too!".

 

Yeah lemon, it's definitely leaving money on the table to not add an upsell. I am thinking about even possibly adding 2... One "deluxe" version that adds $19.95 to it and another "super deluxe" or "premium deluxe" that makes the thing a full $100 (the most I can make it) for the people who just really need to get rid of their money fast.

 

Yes we've seen 17% OTO at $37 which is very good. We could easily lower the OTO price to half that and probably get 30%, but we feel 17% for a $37 OTO which is higher than the original membership price is great!

 

Looks good but I had to laugh when I saw the "Big Screen Plasma". I think to qualify as a big screen it cant sit on top of a desk.

 

Clickbank really was not allowing the OTO (upsell) for a while. No joke!

I remember it was a big deal a while back. Thank God that change didn't last for long.

I'm really surprised that for a survey site their have been zero refunds. Sounds too good to be true.

 

I think it's kind of ironic, as an internet marketer. The people taking surveys are like, exchanging pennies for valuable market research for these companies... lol.

I know that OTO means One Time Offer, but cant understand the concept.
Is just giving a discount to the buyer? What the big deal with OTO?
