Second Adsense account

    Hi,

So a few years ago I ran a graphic design website, and recieved the same old 'invalid clicks' email and Adsense account disabled. I fully accept the blame for that as I wasn't responsible and didn't really understand the whole seriousness/guidelines of Adsense - was only 15 or so. I did make 1-2 invalid clicks, and the fact that my family on the same Internet network had the same IP didn't help the cause.

So I created a new Adsense account, and made roughly $5 from a new graphic design site - which used the same domain as the previous site)

I've now purchased an Arcade website (3 years later), and have been using Adsense on it for a couple of weeks ($15 or so in the Account).

Will I be affected by the fact that I used a different Adsense account, but was used on the same domain? - this was for a very short while (2 weeks approx), but still happened. I have continued to use the same Adsense account for my Arcade website as I had forgotten all about my other graphic design site years ago. Another thing, the name and address is the same on my new Adsense account.

I'm beginning to think I have no chance of staying with Adsense, for my silly mistake when I was younger. If I change the home address, would this make my situation a bit better? - or is it simply gameover, by the fact that the second Adsense account was used on a previous domain where I was banned?

Thanks a lot guys, hope you can get your head around that!

    Ed

Unfortunately, creating a second account is against the Adsense Program Policies, and there is a a good likelihood that Google will figure it out and ban your second account - most likely when you have enough money in your account to get paid. There are probably sneaky ways to try to get around this, but ultimately you run the risk of losing any and all advertising revenue you accumulate. It's probably a better plan to take it as a hard lesson learned and find an alternative source of advertising for your site.

If you look around, you will find that once banned, you are banned forever. Your second adsense account would most likely be banned once you are near $100 and they do the due checking. No pointing having one because it will be a waste of efforts.

The only thing you did wrong was use the same domain, also after how many years did you reapply? because google only keeps the information for 6 month and then they have to delete it if you get banned.

Thanks for the replies. I'm really not wanting to look for another alternative, as I think a second chance should be given. - Of course I'd never repeat my mistake again so...

I think I reapplied the next year, then left it inactive for another two years.

    ...I'll wait and see!

Best if you write in explain what happened and ask them to reconsider your ban. I have read some members who were banned and appealed a few years later telling them the truth and were readmitted again. I guess this seems to be the best and most reliable way.

as said making two account wid same name and address it is against adsense policies... google will definately ban you now or later... but what u can do is make slight change wid your address...

i don think if u put your ads in the same site you used to put another ads before... the main thing u sud do is delete the previous ads and put the new ads... i bet it will not make your account banned.....

Adsense ban not the site but your name, they can and do detect the same name, address, IP etc to make sure a banned account does not sign up again. No point changing sites, the truth will catch up with you sooner or later.

One Adsense Account is enough for any number of website(s)/blog(s) you possess. Simply paste the same javascript code on all websites. Thats the way. Infact, Google doesnt encourage multiple adsense accounts per person.

Apparently, people are getting away with it by creating second accounts registered to their businesses. Seems quite common since the two accounts can be kept distinct.

But not if you use the same domain name. He needs to start all over. Linking that one domain to his new account could likely get him disabled again.

Legally, Google can't hold you to anything you did under the age of 18. You didn't have the capacity to enter into a contract. ToS=Contract. On the other hand, Google's ToS Says they can ban you for anything at any time now that you are 18. I doubt either clause would hold up in court but you going to spend $1000's trying to sue Google? Probably not. Maybe Google will do the right thing? Fairness doesn't seem to be a big part of this per what I've seen so far. But Google has to protect its advertisers.

try your luck if you get your first cheque means google has accepted you back.
you will have to wait and see the response from google.

Thanks for all the comments :)

The new account was on a different domain - so the only thing possibly holding me back is the name and address. Still waiting for the PIN to come through, etc, so we'll see if payment comes :)
