Where is the best place to go to buy domains 4 or 5, and keep them to sell later if I choose. Godaddy, namecheap? What is cheaper? What is easier?
Those are all good options but I use 1and1.com. They are cheap and the have pretty good customer service.
Godaddy would be the best choice for domain aftermarket sales as a majority of domainers have a Godaddy account.
Mydomain.com, Name.com, Namecheap, Godaddy are all popular and have good prices and you can find coupons for discounts on most too.
Ok, I decided to go with namecheap to buy my domains because they had free comodo ssl certificates, and free private registrations. My cart was $50 on godaddy(they charge for private whois registrations) , and with the same options+ssl certificates on namecheap.com came to half the price $25 .
I would say go to godaddy, its standard. Use a voucher code and you can get a domain for about $7 in total, which istn bad..
1and1 is not a good choice if you plan to resell...unless your customers do not mind paying registration fees to 1and1 on top of your sales price. They will charge your buyer a re-registration fee once the domain names have been transferred. 1and1 does NOT offer a Free Push. *The only big registrar I know of that doesn't. -------------------------------------------- OP (error47), you decided to go with Namecheap. In my opinion, a good choice. Not sure about SSL certs, but name.com also offers free private registration. .
