    I was happy to win the blog contest so I decided to host my own contest
    even tho I am perfectly capable of doing my own work. This is going to be
    a quick contest as I am leaving Sat for 5 weeks so I want this done really quickly....... (absolutely NO PM entries)

    Source Files can be either PSD or PNG (will require fonts).

    Specs: Description: I need a logo for a "File Search Engine" - $5.00 bonus if
    you can create a catchy name for the site [edit] Using the letters "R" & "P" ...."1" is optional.
    (tagline isn't needed). The domain is www.rp1.org

    Size requirements currently are 270px by 70px.
    (width can be expanded to max 350px and height max 100px)

    Colors: Must be on White background only condition....
    Style: Web 2.0 Optional ( please no using free Icons )

    Payment is by Paypal. Any other questions, please post in thread.

    Here is some feedback on the current submissions.

    @bitwer - Your Logo has potential, just isn't proportioned correctly nor do I know what it (symbol) is/represents.

    @nathangjj - Good proportion - Very simple design (Using the mag.glass isn't needed since it's implied)

    @agilius - Sorry but your Icon looks like it is right out of some icon collection - but your text has great color ( as for naming I am trying to stay within the "R" "P" and "1"...

    @A-Q - Your graphic looks distorted and completely clashes with the text.

    as you asked , I have pick , a unique eye-catching title , RightPick1ngine, gave a web 2.0 look , and included the .dot inside that hand made search-lense, hope you like it. added a catchy tag-line also.

    plus gave a glassy look with a reflection, all what is needed for Web 2.0

    It's a good design, but I'm not liking the fonts, and I really don't require a search
    lens. If you look at any other search engine like rapidshare, google, or even yahoo none of them bother with the lens as it's implied.
