i don't get it. so someone sent money to my personal paypal account, and when i checked my history tab, the transaction was marked "payment owed" instead of the usual "payment", and 0.5% had been skimmed off the top, to the benefit of paypal! it's a negligible amount i know, but i still feel like i've been taken advantage of. has this happened to anyone else? have the rules changed recently? google hasn't been any help to me so far.
I have not trusted PayPal in a long time. More than once I have paid the account in full and then received notifications that I still owe money. I have heard nothing but horrible things about them on the other forums I am on and know from recent company experience that their customer support is non-existent.
^ But it's hard to not use PayPal because they're the major payment processor online. I haven't seen anyone really use Google's service and e-gold is in a heap of trouble, so there really isn't much choice these days.
PayPal to paypal transfer are free for personal account. If payment was done using a Credit Card they will take some fee.
