Well, for a start, I doubt you'll get money out of HostGator because they host the site. I am sure that they will take it down if a DMCA is sent, as I've personally sent illegal/fraud sites to them before and they are gone within an hour.

If you really have to get your lawyer to contact them, go ahead but it'll be a huge waste of money.

@ drmacinyasha, Check their TOS, some companies take up to 30 days to refund mis/accidental payments.

A lawyer has confirmed today, that everything was done right from our side.
We even reecorded telephone converstaion. We also sent our fax and email
Totaly ignored. About wasting money, I am not sure, because if our company win this process the host company has to pay court charge and all expensis.
As far as I know our company start claiming over $50K
I think easy for company just close down a business in advance. But I am not a lawyer myself

Forgot to say. The lawyer said even that company had terms and conditions but their did not match international law and company provides business outside of USA. They mean nothing, because there are illegal.
Second point, all terms and conditins must be certify ( written) by solicitor who deals with internationa law and signed by him
    otherwiser they are not valid.
Friends, if you need claim money back do not wait for 30 days, non-sense.

    Haha,

Funny thread, i am 100% with Hostgator here! They are a good and honest company (at least on the outside) and i am pretty sure that if you guys had done things properbly then Hostgator would have assisisted you guys in the best possible way!

And then again: NO serious company goe onto an public forum saying that they are taking legal action against an even bigger company ;)

Funny man from illusion world, Company says nothing, I am employed by that company and I know what is going on. My Friend, you are looking as scab from that company:)
I am not blame any company without reason. Each of us has own opinion on that company. I express only me vision of problem. We need to punish thift all together. If you pay for home page $1200 and than somebody copies it and multiply it in internet what you will say? There is no "0" in this fight. Or you against thift or you support him, this is you choice.
Fortunately, we never host with that company we choose more serious companies because our webs must be safe and protected with good service

They give you hell with tech support when you have problems, they give you the run arround, they double bill then take forever when it comes to correcting the problems. THey gave me hell when I requested to cancel.

They are the cheapest with great features but I know that their servers aren't configured properly.

I had to file a claim with the attorney generals office just to cancel my account and to get a partial refund.

This company is operated by a band of crooks:cool:

    Buyer BEWARE!

drmacinyasha do you have a ticket number I can review? If you had a subscription going and your account was still active on our servers to be honest I'd be very surprised if we refunded you more then a month. We usually have to investigate something like this as I'm sure you can imagine many people lie about use of service.

BlaqHQ do you have a ticket number I can review? If we wronged you in anyway I'd love to compensate you for your time.

To late, 100s members from other forums gave me support and shared my opinion about you company.
When you start another company just remember, the money is not such important as respect of customers and professionalism.
I don't know what my boss going to do, but I will do everything
through Internet society until you provide host for thift and support internet crime.
Please, I am against you not as a company, I am against you as SEO consultant and honest man

Your lawyer needs to go back to school. An attorney does not have to sign a document for it to be valid -- in this case, it would be a terms of service. The contract is validated when you sign up for hosting. Their servers are located in the United States, and their terms of service reflects the laws of the United States, and still apply for all customers, no matter where they live...

John, I am not dealing with lawyer. As I told above, I show my own position.
No law in the world which allows company give support to thifts and not react after official claim. USA is only one of 194 other countries and I cannot see difference amoung all of them. All countries and all nationalitis are equal. Do you not agree with me, my friend?

Friends, let us finish this dispute. Some people understood what was speech about, some not.
Endless fighting between dark and light. Good luck for all of us.

And all languages are equal, do you not agree with me, my Friend?

Please explain to us what a Thift is then? http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/thift

I assume theft but now I'm not even sure considering the way you describe things a better set of words would be copyright infringement.

If you did not understand something it meant simply that this information was not for you,
do you agree with me, my Friend?
