Car Nightmare

I bought a car from the dealer yesterday and paid cash well over $10,000 in California. I drove it home and for some reason decided I changed my mind and didn't want the car. I didn't buy the insurance for $250 that allows me to try out the car for 2 days. So now I want to return the car and get my money back. If it's been less than a day can I legally get my money back?

How to understand - "I don't want it anymore" ?
Anyway, as I know there is no law, that you can get your money back .. you need to contact seller and talk with him ! Maybe you can deal with him and he will take the car back ..

Not sure if this will help me get my money back I was mislead about the price. I went in for the internet ad price and they charged me $200 above that price which I found out later. They put me on a run around and lied to me about the price.

$200 is enough to not want the car anymore? I think they call that buyers remorse...

Surely there's a 12 or 14 day waiver? I'm not sure whether that only applies if you've purchased the car using finance tho...

After driving the car home I decided it wasn't for me. When the dealer was in the car it was a distraction and I wasn't able to really feel the car for myself.

Don't be too hard on yourself as it happens to a lot of people - you get caught up in the moment and the decision becomes emotional rather than a rational.

Have you been back to the dealer to express your concerns?

I called the next day and they hung up on me. I was pissed and drove down there and got in the guys face i was going to kick his a$$. He looked scared and still wouldn't take back the car but he gave me some money back since he ripped me off a little bit.

I'm going to put the car up for sale and buy something cheaper. I learned my lesson from buying this car.

well, i don't think they will take it back and pay your money back. they don't have a legal obligation to do that. maybe you can negotiate to change it with another car you like.
