Can i do this in PayPal???

    My name is ANAND GUPTA.

    I have a personal account in PayPal to which my HDFC account is attached,but HDFC guys are playing around and are not getting me my Credit Card,so i had to open a new ICICI account now...

    But the problem is that,the address of mine in HDFC differs from the address in ICICI account,as i had opened HDFC account in Bangalore and ICICI account in Mysore.

    SO,i thought that,i cant add the ICICI account or Credit card to that personal PayPal account,as the address matters a lot in Paypal..

    But am i allowed to have a new PayPal account with my same name,but with ICICI account and ICICI credit card???

    Does PayPal allow to open 2 accounts WITH SAME NAME????

    You should be fine. But to be safe, I suggest you contact paypal and explain the situation to them.

    So,im eligible to open a new Premiere account with the same name ANAND GUPTA but with my ICICI account and ICICI credit card.

    Yes, I have two accounts under the same name and with different credit cards. Actually my main paypal account has 3 of my credit cards listed on it.

    I am not sure about a personal account but in business account when I add a credit card Paypal asks for billing address and there is an option to provide a new address. If it is same in personal account just give the billing address and your name exactly as it is in your credit card statement.

    Credit card issuers are responsible for verifying your address/identity and that is why Paypal asks to be verify by credit card.


    If you want to be very sure ask Paypal before deciding what to do next.
