Please Review my Dog Forum

I just started my Dog Forum. I just picked the template, forum software, and design. I haven't actually added any folders or threads yet.

Thoughts on the domain name and template so far?

Thanks. Even though Im a guy I wanted to pick a more "feminine color look" to it since most dog forum goers will probably be women, but I didn't want to make it too Girly girly cute because I didn't want to turn off men from wanting to join and ask questions. Its sort of a delicate balance im trying to get.

 

The forum looks ok, you should consider getting a logo and adding a graphic into the
header of the template. I do not like the background image I think it's taking something
away from the site.

 

I guess I could add a logo. I would have to remove the top header where it says "Dog owner forum" and replace it though. Hmm now im getting contrasting opinions on the background image.

 

OK I took the advice of the last guy and dropped hte background and removed the header and put in a logo instead.

nice design. the logo should be clickable to be able to return to the homepage.

 

There is a "home" button already though. I guess Ill make it clickable then.

Thanks. I just need to get around in about a month making the folders and getting some threads started.

 

the colors are a good pick for a dog forum. i don't like the menu but that is just my personal opinion.

Thanks. I think this is probably one of my best designed sites ive done so far. Design has always been my weak point, im usually much better at generating unique content and the SEO aspect of building sites.

 

I just added the folders now. The forum is still empty of threads, Ill have to get around to that later. Im really happy so far with the look and the domain name.
