Really? Do you ever see any referrals from there?

Jayde is owned by iEntry - WebProWorld, SiteProWorld, and a dozen or so others. The submission agreement for Jayde says you agree to accept emails from iEntry - if you unsubscribe, you may lose the listing.

If you want to keep the Jayde listing, do what others are suggesting here and use a spam filter. :)

    Jayde is an ass :)
Once you opt in to one of their network, they will fill your box with newsletters which you never subscribe.

Do you know that i now have a person at my office working on those unsubscribe links? ;)

We know that we agreed to get the mails, no problem with this. The problem is that no matter how long and how much you keep unsubscribing, it just sends you more spam for willing to unsubscribe. Believe it...

I hope they will spam uncle 'Bill' and he then brings them to the court of law ;)

I just have it set so they all go to Spam, go directly to Spam, do not pass Go, and do not collect $200. Saves me a lot of aggravation.

I too tried to unsubscribe to some of them to no avail. That's why they're now filtered. Much easier on the blood pressure. :)

Holyshit .... I once submit my website to their directory. After that, my inbox is full of newsletters from their network. "Webpronews" "sitepronews" and some others I don't remember.

Till today, I had try to unsubscribe many many times but the result still the same.

You guys should do what I do when I submit somewhere. I will always use , so when gets me spam, I just forward that one to some old hotmail account I will never use.

Added: Ouch, sorry bout the bump, but blame the guy who links to this from a new thread ;)

Good advice. I too like to create unique email addresses for each directory submission to catch the spammers.

That guy sounds like a real ***hole. :D

use it...a lot of the deep link pages are PR3, which isn't bad, at least. Better than nothing.

Yeah, I get a ton of junk for the Jayde network which also includes exactseek.

However, I do think there newsletter. sitepronews, does have a worthwhile article every 4-5 emails.

Unfortunately, Spam is a part of life in the internet world. We've got to learn to live with a little of it at least.

That's why you should get a unique email address; for these kind of submissions only. I do use a specific email for submissions to directories; and further search engines.

    Regards,

Yes, don't use your personal email account in submitting to directories coz for sure, you'll get / receive junk mails to your account.

I get some traffic from Jayde so to me its worthwhile. The Webpronews that iEntry spams you with is the price. It drives a lot of their forum traffic. The users are a lot different over there and they really like their debates. The dp forum is more about money and has a lot more going on. I find dp more useful for webmasters trying to make a buck.
