I saw on their site said that free sponsorship for 60 days and then charge $48each month. I signed in one month ago, but until now in my account it was still said "You are not currently sponsoring any categories. Sponsor a category FREE for 60 days. ". I tried to contact them 2 times via the contact forms, but never got a reply. I tried to cancel the account, but don't know how. And in one month they will start charging me! Does anybody know any members here working for botw.org? Or how can I contact them except their contact forms?
If it says this in your account then you DO NOT have any active sponsorship ads. Therefore, you will NOT incur any charges from Best of the Web. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at http://botw.org/helpcenter/contact.aspx or from within your online account.
Boywundah - I can only assume your response inclines you work for BOTW - many people come here asking how to contact BOTW because they never reply to them after contacting BOTW via the contact form. Something you guys should maybe look at

Record call and to also send letter with snail mail with registering mail this is only way credit card company are to be refund you if claim is you did not be canceling. Is that http://botw.org/helpcenter/address.aspx to be real office or real one more like http://www.digitalpointless.com/about/ ?
Hello, are you the editor for botw.org. The above 2 contact forms are really useless, many people reported that they never got a reply, same as me. Would you provide some other ways except the above 2 forms and phone calls?
The contact form is the best bet to reach out to us. I assure you that if you contact us via the contact form at http://botw.org/helpcenter/contact.aspx that you will receive a timely response.
Best bet?? No offence mister charlie but the people who are complaining are people who want to spend money with you, surely you can offer a better service than that.
Seems to me BOTW are nothing short of being completely dead. I went to them earlier this year and wanted a price for submitting various sites at once, but never received an answer. Even if they replied today, their time keeping is simply awful so I for one wouldn't part with a penny to help their disgraceful cause
To the unnamed asshole, though I do know who it was received from. [Edit] - Actually, I'd appreciate it if you would publicly admit that you left the negative rep - in exchange I will cease my new tirade to slate BOTW at anything and everything they do.[/Edit] "Sorry, that was a tactless answer, and this forum continues its downhill slide if we keep ignoring those. Clean it or or lose rep each time. Thanks" Sorry kid, I'm going to have to keep spreading the word that BOTW are fraudsters, aren't located in the plazza, as they claim (but a small time shanty hut) - and their customer service is so shit it's almost non-existent. Don't fuel the fire, little boy.
Best bet meaning that there are a number of ways to contact us, but that is the best option for the timeliest response by the most knowledgeable person. The best choice available amongst the options provided. The best bet. "the thing someone should do which is most likely to achieve the result they want." idiom source Quite frankly, this is the first I have really heard that there was dissatisfaction with the timeliness of responses from our support people. Outside of holidays, long weekends, and the occasional snowboarding trip, I think our support team does a bang-up job in helping users with all sorts of questions. I have always been very proud of our support team. We have a feedback link on every category of the web directory, we provide our phone number in the helpcenter area, and a link to the contact page from the helpcenter as well. We welcome user feedback, and of course are excited at the chance to discuss any business opportunities any user might have. I encourage any of you to reach out to me directly at ghartnett [at] botw.org if you ever feel that your individual issue is not being dealt with to your satifsaction. The comments made by Spider-Man are so absurd they don't merit further reply.
That's hilarious. I know numerous people that have attempted to phone BOTW and only ever received an answer once - from a half-witted female who knew so little about life the customer begged to differ whether or not the 'customer support' person was from this entire Galaxy, never mind this particular planet. In my personal experience BOTW have never answered to my personal e-mails (sent through both public email accounts and the online contact form). The customer satisfaction level, or should I say ex-potential customer, was so bleak I wouldn't even rate it, because it doesn't even meet the grade to be considered scalable. The fact you even stated that the occasional 'snowboarding trip' means e-mails aren't answered speaks more than a thousand words - BOTW aren't serious about business. But they are serious about taking the money. All of the money. And running.
The comments made by Spider-Man are accurate, from our investigations including the large numbers of mails to you, the phone calls, including the phone call where your nice polite lady answered the phone today which traced you to exactly where we thought you were. Why lie about this botwPlex nonsense? It looks more like an artists impression of a building which shows that your committing fraud by pretending to be something your not. Why if your so large a company as you clearly make yourself out to be are you not registered anywhere in the US as such? We couldn't trace you under that name, is there a reason you aren't registered as a Company, or are you registered under another name? Lots of questions when you portray yourself to be the next best thing to Google. BotwPlex, yeah and we have DigiPlex. Now I'm not one to make accusations, I won't flame, or offer something I can't back up 100%. You need to stop playing the cooperation and misleading everyone, its getting tiresome for many.
Mister Charlie. On another note, as you appear to be defending in a game where there's likely to be only one winner - please can you clarify what happened with the lifetime listings of customers who paid for them when BOTW was a gimmick awards site? Were the lifetime links just a scam, like the awards?
Point being that no one should have to gamble on whether or not they can get in touch with you, especially as they are potential money spenders. If this is the first you have heard of it, then I suggest you do a little more searcing on the forum. To the nameless repper, first sign your name and stop being a little pussy hiding behind the rep system. Your statement is incorrect because two people didn't come to the OP's aid, they came and told him to use a contact form which if either of you had bothered to read he clearly stated had been tried. Furthermore it wasn't an attempt to discourage vendors from coming it was an attempt to get you as representatives of the directory industry to improve your game. Did that occur to you stupid?
I tried to contact botw 2 times via the contact form one month ago, and never got a reply. Just do a search in this forum, and you will find many user complaigning the contact form is useless.
I am also trying to contact them since long but i never get any response from them i dont know why but now i think that they are doing this for attracting visitors and subscribe their paid service. Thanks
