    Hello webmaster's

If we are submitting our internal pages to other general web directories, is that helpful to our site??

in my view this is more better than submitting our main url to directories with PR not much greater than that...
    What is your opinion

    Thanks in advance....

Waste of time. Submitting them to DMOZ and Yahoo might end up being worth it in the long run.

If it was a waste of time, then large companies are not fool to submit there subpages to directories, in one of my directory, many large companies submited there subpages, including home page, and its not free, a paid directory.

So its not a waste of time, it also helped me rank well as i submited my site, and its sub pages to many paid quality directories.

    Thanks

I agree. IT IS NOT A WASTE OF TIME. I have PR3 subpages on a site that has just a couple of inlinks.

it is really worth it, the problem is that most general directories don't accept inner links as free links so you will probably have to pay if you want to do that. But it will help..

Thanks to all.. but some directories accepting sub pages.. like http://www.any1.in..This site with a PR of 2. and my subpage Google not cached yet. and PR of my homepage is 2. so i thought submitting my main URL to to this directory is not very much useful..I am always submitting my main URL to directories with PR >=3. is this the correct way..?

deep linking is still helpful if you want your internal pages to rank on SE. And also make sure that the directories is also quality directories with good links.

Yes, submitting your internal page can help to promote a specific product. It can also help to rank your keyword.

search engine submission is useless, all the search engines will pick your link up eventually, i suggest you don't concern yourself with that.

Submit it to quality directories, and search engine will crawl ur site by itself no need to submit to search engine.

A backlink never hurts, plus who knows... you might even get some traffic from them directories.... its worth it actually if the link is free and you dont have to conquer the world to get approved.

If you have enough backlinks (its never enough though) to your homepage and you think a particular internal page should also get almost an equal importance then yes submitting the internal pages are quite cool.
