Should I care about my SE rank if I am working with a landing page?... or do I only have to worry about this if I have some sort of blog or a normal website.
Well, search engines always offer free and targeted traffic. It is all up to you whether you want a piece of the pie.
see every page is a separate page for search engines.. so each page of a blog is a PAGE for search engines. Even a real landing page is JUST A PAGE for search engines so all the rules of website SEO apply on landing pages
Hey Welcome in this forum. Hope you will enjoy discussion and you will give good suggestions to other people also.
You should only care about your SE rank if you are trying to get organic traffic. If you push via other methods, such as direct linking, email lists, or ppc, then your SERP rankings don't really matter.
can't i do both, organice and ppc? does having a article that shows up in google and links to your page qualify as organic or does my site main url have to show up on google when a certain keyword is searched for it to be called organic. when u say direct linking... do u mean back links
You should only care if you want your landing page itself to recieve direct traffic from the search engines.
why wouldn't i want that extra traffic? when you said direct traffic, do you mean when you search something in google my direct link has to show up and not other sites that link to mine.... right? is that what you mean
I don't know why you wouldn't, but its your choice. Yes, that is what I meant when I said direct traffic to the landing page.
as I said before...landing page is JUST ANOTHER PAGE for search engines SO it is possible to get organic hits to LP too!!
