I'm looking to promote a fat loss/weight loss product on Clickbank. I read on another forum that fatloss4idiots is not converting well. I'm wondering which CB weight loss products have worked well for you? I see the top 2 is fatloss4idiots and fatlosssecrets... anyone have good success with them? How about the other programs THanks for the feedback
I've used feed the muscle burn the fat and it converted for me a few times. But I got tired of weight-loss niche pretty fast so I can't give you a fair estimate of the conversion. But it's always important to note that if one product doesn't convert for someone it doesn't necessary mean it won't convert for you. Trust your instincts, read the sales page, put yourself in the visitors shoes and ask yourself if you'd buy from this person.

Burn the fat isn't really a striclty dieting niche. Burn the fat is about how to get a lean body and burn the fat, through proper dieting and exercise. It requires a lot of exercise, weight training, and cardio. Most people don't want to do that, they just want a diet. If your audience is fitness/bodybuilding oriented than Burn the fat is a great choice. But if your viewers are more into the general public, the general overweight male/female, than you should go with the Fat Loss 4 Idiots
A big advantage 4idiots has is their automated Google tracking, I have to admit - that's a great feature for PPC people. I want to add that very badly. (again... anyone that can help me out with that will get a reward.)
hey mate, all you had to do was ask.. i'd love to help u out with it.. and I can even do a google gadget for you if you like... haha... just about wrapping up my first one these days. regarding weight loss it depends on what conversion rate you're looking at.. some convert at 2% and some as low as 0.05% but it all depends how you get your traffic. PPC can still be profitable at a 0.05% conversion rate. If you want my opinion don't go into lose weight niche right now, conversions have gone down and it's hugely saturated.. I saw a huge drop this month, had to re-do all my campaigns in order to keep them profitable.
What's a "Google Gadget" ? If I know what one is... well then I might like one. hah. I've offered a free sale of my product to anyone who can show me how to do that... but since you're already sending me some hops I can just send you $31 directly to your PayPal instead. I haven't been able to figure out how to capture the code and then pass it to the thank you page... Just can't seem to do it. I figured out how to redirect people using PHP and I love that feature - It's going to be huge for me to make landing pages like I've already done (http://affiliateID.dayoff.hop.clickbank.net/?x=over) and so I can create multiple salesletters - I'm thinking of creating a lot of different sales-letters which are mostly the same as each other but each one focuses on a different keyword phrase. It seems like that would greatly improve conversions. I also want to create a version to send men to that plays up the free strength training program and other things that may be big selling points for men.
Well, I know fatloss4 idiots has a high gravity but did you guys also notice that you actually have to click through 4-5 pages before you get to the order page? I actually looking for a fat loss diet program to promote that converts well... anymore suggestions?
Yes, I've definitely noticed that. And I find it quite curious. I've actually been considering trying something similar (except with only 3 pages instead of 5) but I'm definitely not sold on it. I think it may be something to do with the diet niche - people in this niche may be turned off by long sales letters. There's really very few actual "diets" in the diets area of clickbank. There's things like "top secret fat loss secret" which is really... quite crazy. If you look at their page. It's flat out nuts. And I do think that has caught up with them a bit as their gravity has fallen a lot from it's peak. There's burn the fat which is more of a fitness/muscle program than a pure diet. There's "Master Cleanse" which is another one of these crazy "you're going to shit out all of your fat" diets which are ... just completely ridiculous. Sorry to say - I mean.. if it sells it sells. But yeah. Nonsense. Then you got "Fat Burning Furnace" which has some cool features. They've got the video spokes model I want to add. They've also got a lot of really great before & after photos. I also like that they have a page for men and for women. If I were you I may try that. The pay out is good with a $34 average payout. I have nothing to do with this program, in fact they are my competition. Out of the highest gravity diets on CB they seem to be the one that would be easiest to make sales with - based on their salesletter. But that being said - I haven't sent a bunch of traffic to any of these competitors (except for 4idiots.. and that's mostly been name brand traffic, so it's incomparable.) The "Carb Rotation Diet" may be another possibility. They also have the men's and women's versions. I don't think their sales letter is as nice as fat burning furnace though. Personally I'd stick with the real diets and leave the "cleansing" diets alone. But it depends on your traffic and your angle really. Well, it's proven that it works, becuase it has such a high gravity - which means many different affiliates have seen success with it.
whenever i lookat fatloss for idiots i get surprised at the landing page and the gravity stats.... wonder if they would have had a bit more impressive landing page what would have been the gravity like, I havn't tried it though but the comission 75 % is good for affiliates ...
