2 x $30 Logo & Header Design Contests - Dating and Pet niche

Getting there now mate, the strapline needs to be larger and moved up a bit though. The left hand side is perfect its just the right hand side that needs something to make it complete but Im not sure what.

 

Yeah I think thats about there now Tightwad....Ill have another look tomorrow as its pretty late here now - I will probably ask to change the font of the strapline as Im not keen on the one used currently but other then that I think we could be there

CottonStella.....I like your designs, the dating one I do really like but I think Tightwad has that one.

I like the turtle one, I am just waiting on a couple more entries for that one and then Ill give some feedback

 

Thanks Lunamaya - The dating one I think will go to Tightwad so I wouldnt advise anyone else doing a design for that.

However I do like the Turtle one....there are a few good Turtle entries now I can see this one being just as difficult to decide!!!

I will give proper feedback on that one shortly

I also played with this concept...but its not quite how I wanted it...just wanted to try a different idea...could work with a cartoon better probably.

Congratulations to Tightwad - deal is complete......turtle one is still open but ScarletWolfe has done a very good one and its looking like that one will be my choice.

I really like it mate, only suggestion for a change is to try replacing the turtle on the left hand side with some kind of image to get the guidebook aspect across.

Can you try that please?

 

The reason I added the turtle there as well was you mentioned wanting to use it as a logo ...but I will give you that as a seperate piece if youd like to use in other places.

Thanks Scarlet, that book looks better (I like the first, smaller one) but I want to try a couple more things, could you show me two more versions like this:

1) With the book facing the other way (e.g. the bottom of the book is nearest the text) and with the turtle facing towards the text

2) With the turtle on the left and the book on the right, and like above with the bottom of book nearest the text and the turtle facing towards the text.

^^ Im not sure the book looks right I did try to adjust the perspective...but unless I draw a whole new book I dont think this works....
