    I've used several free forum versions, but if you want a superior product Vbulletin is best for updgrades, new styles, modifications and support. It might be a little pricey to some, but you get what you pay for.

    I agree. The new MyBB 1.4 software is so sweet. There really is no need for VBulletin with MyBB 1.4 for free. :)

    There are many hacking problems with MyBB, yeah hacking problem was with phpBB2 also, but phpBB3 is much secure than phpBB2 & MyBB. I didn't find any hacking complaint yet with phpBB3. But too much with MyBB

    Methinks the good gentleman doth talk out of the back of his ar^H^H head!

    In fact, myBB has a pretty good security track record in the context of bb software. Whether this is a result of fewer installations or more proficient design and coding, I do not know. In my experiemce, if you stay current, there should not be a problem with myBB and should remain every bit a secure as phpbb3.
