4th June Google Catastrophe Huge Penalization.

    On 3rd/4th June most of my traffic from Google disappeared, however i still rank for my main term but all long tail keywords are gone and its been 50ish days traffic has not com back.

    I had about 1000 meta duplicate errors Google i have fixed them as well but i still don't see any change.
    Please post if you were penalized and what did you do to fix it.

    Everyone seems to be finding their PR has dropped on the latest SERPS update so must be something with the new algorithms.

    Yep... June 4th is when Google made some major changes to their ALGO. There are several thread on WebmasterWorld about this... it's a decent read.

    Interesting indeed!

    My traffic has seen steady rise since the last algo update......

    I haven't seen any change really in my PR though. My search traffic has gone up by over 50%, so I guess I'm doing something right!!

    I have tried to fix duplicate meta titles and descriptions apart from that i think site is fine or else i dont know.

    Yea i am observing those threads and i think most of victims are still down. I wonder if its algo change or just some penalty which has some thing to do with Webmaster Tools.

    i also saw a few sites that dropped 2 points in PR, from 6 to 4 and so on...as I saw this was not a real update, just a penalization round...
