Should I do SEO if I have a landing page that I am working with to drive traffic or is this only if I have a blog or a standard website.
If you have just a single landing page, it must be keyword-rich and has an excellent keyword structure.
Ya its pretty good. I don't think this alone will drive the traffic? What ways could I drive traffic to my landing page? From what I know, I can: -post on forums -write articles
should i be creating back links to my landing page? some guy was selling some backlinks and i asked if backlinks would benefit me and he said not much only blogs and normal sites.
SEO for landing page is for pay per click campaign while blog is for organic traffic You may check this link :http://www.seomoz.org/blog/landing-pages-for-seo
i'm so lost. why is landing page limited to just pay per click? I'm really confused. So that means we don't care aobut what the rank of the page is... right? or sohld that matter at all for a landing page. if so... why or why not? what all things fall under SEO? What about back links to the page... isn't that organic? can't i do both? please explain one more thing... organic traffic is everything thats not paid .. right? thanks
organic traffic is what you get from search engines. you must work on your landing page seriously if you want your visitors to check your site and keep coming back to it. I searched this link for you http://www.problogger.net/archives/2006/04/19/the-importance-of-landing-pages-on-blogs/ backlinks are always great for any page and so is keyword rich content
Hi You have done a good question, it’s really interesting. If you get any good reply, so please let me know. So I’ll also get some good idea. Thanks for your future help.
Landing page is just a landing page....it doesn't necessarily belong to any type of marketing. For PPC, you will need to have at least 5 pages and you need to have really good content or your Quality Score is going to suck and your click minimums will be through the roof. For organic rankings, on page SEO is moderately important. The primary factor for ranking high for your keywords is your back links. The more back links you have for your chosen keywords, the higher you rank. And the more powerful the links, the higher you rank. I don't put too much stock into on page SEO myself. I have pages ranking #1 for specific phrases out of millions of results and the pages have literally no written text on them. It's all about back links for organic results.
the hting is .. my landing page has been made for me and is suposed to be optimized. when u say organic traffic from search engines.. does that mean .. if i type something in and a youtube video pops up the talks about my business and sends the visitors from there to my landing page or ...a direct link to my landing page when searched on google? i don't think optimizing the landing page alot will make it apear on like page one or something. lets say my page is optimized.. what would i do next to bring in traffic. i can do article writing, submitting to article directories, website directories, posting on forums , ppc and thats it.. .right? also another thing.. i've seen alot of landing pages with just a video and a title and they have been getting tons of prospects and stuff. i don't understand how this qualifies as rich content when there is nothing on there except a video and title.
wow u kinda read my mind about what i was going to say about pages with no content. i see... so its all about back links. what ways do you build backlinks. Do you build backlinks for all of the pages? you said you choose a keyword.. right? lets say i have a landing page about making monye online for free or something as an example. i would target one keyword and then with that keyword in mind ... post articles aboutr that keyword, do forum post about that keyword, make videos aobut that keyword.... what else can u do.. i don't know i'm thinking properly about how this is all suposed to work. from what do poeple make thousaannds of backlinks.. is this all from like forum posting and articles? what if a keyword u want to target has little relavance to your page (has some) and you write artiles about it and have a link to your site .. even if its a tiny bit relavent. ... is this a good idea?
can u tell me a simple logic to getting the traffic. like is there a flow chart somewhere around here or something so i can fully understand how this whole thing works and kinda put it together. The problem is that i'm learning all this stuff but i don't know where its all suposed to go. I don't know how to connect it all.
SEO for a landing page is always the best option. Just include, meta tags for title, keywords, content description, author biography, geography and also email. This will be very useful to get good traffic from PPC and Traffic Exchanges.
on top of that i can do article marketing, saflists, driving traffic from social networks like myspace, youtube, submiting the site to website directories, submiting articles to article directories and the same goes with a blog if i make one and also do forum post. right?
buying traffic.. .i c. so in what forms does this traffic come from. how do u do this. the only thing i know about buying is i know poeple buy form posts or soemthing and thats all i know. what do most poeple do? where do most poeple spend their money? i think i also heard somewhere where poeple have like 100 domain names. whats the point of that? do they use all of them for something? what other things do they spend the money on to get alot of traffic?

good work. do u hav multiple landing pages or... did u have to make that page by yoursefl? is there any tutorials on making them .. like having the layout like that and all. one more question... this one is kinda random... is it possible to have multiple websites with one host and al lhaving different domain names?
