Well anyway I was looking to start some new ppc campaigns for cb products so I went ahead and looked at the competitions landings pages. I came across something that kind of suprised me. I found the follwing websites and I hate to bring negative attention to these advertisers, but isn't framing against the CB rules. I think these pages are using framing.

    http://www.curesandtreatments.org/cure-tinnitus/

    http://www.meview.org/offers/tinnitus.html?tid=1-tinnitus

I looked at their source code and they both looked like this

Is this allowed? Can I use the same technique for my clickbnk products? Thank you and appreciate your feeback!

I think it's allowed. I think it's up to the individual publisher whether they allow it or not. If a publisher wants to stop it they can put a frame breaker into their code. I don't see any reason to stop people from doing it personally. Although it doesn't seem like the most effective way to sell something... In my experience conversions are higher with pre-selling landing pages.

clickbank does not allow framing, take a look at their official faq: https://www.clickbank.com/hoplink_faq.html#hoplink_question_10

    Clickbank allows framing.

They doesn't allow abuse of hoplink

    Framing doesn't abuse the hoplink.

Cool. I've never done it. It doesn't make much sense to me... It's like sending traffic straight to the salesletter. I've always done better pre-selling traffic with my own landing pages.

Ok, I've gotten an official answer from Clickbank:

I sent them the following link: http://www.curesandtreatments.org/cure-tinnitus/ (which was mentioned in the opening post) and asked if it was considered hop link abuse.

I think it depends on the product and the sales letter. I have a product that I get the best results by sending people directly to the sales letter, and its not even that great of a letter, but gotta go with what works. But most of the time you are right, it helps to pre-sell a little.
