Set Up My Landing Page, Checklist/What Am I Missing?

Wow if someone could answer my questions here that'd be great, I could bookmark this thread anytime I had to tweak or make a new landing page. Hopefully anyone else that is trying to put together and landing page for the first time will find this beneficial as well if we get some good answers here.

I put together my Q and A review style site for the product I'm promoting and the content and design is done for the most part. Now:

Is there a way to get affiliate tools from the publisher such as a nice banner for the top of the page? I couldn't really find a link on the site or a place to email them.

Is there a way I should be optimizing my page for keywords/should I be testing untapped and potentially lucrative keywords and long tail keywords in my niche and include them on the page, or is that more of an issue when I'm writing articles? Does it matter on my landing page as well?

Can I "cloak" my affiliate links (preferably in a straightforward, non techie speak way) so that my customers don't click on the many links and see my clickbank junk at the end of it?

Anything else I'm not thinking of that I should be doing or thinking of?

That's it for now, like I said I'd really appreciate it if someone could simply answer my noobish questions, thanks so much.

If you couldn't find anything on your publishers page that means he probably doesn't have any. (Which is usually not a good sign)

Yes, go to clickbank->Marketplace->Tools->Cloak a hoplink

Good call, I'm looking into it.

Any word on the keywords? Do you guys stuff your pages full of keywords and longtails and such for better serp results or is that all just dependent on how much traffic you send to it through other means? I never really truly got how that worked.

Don't ever "stuff" a page with keywords. The google bots are smart and will catch on.

SEO... you could write a book about it. In fact there are several books about it.

    But basically, in a nutshell:

    Frequently Updated Content

    +

    Links

That alone should get you rankings in the SERP, but you do want to focus on specific keywords as well.
