What role server ip changes play for a website. for example when we change our host or move from one to another.
not a lot, just make sure that the host you're moving to isn't one that is renowned for spammy sites, like Godaddy webhosting which is recommended not to go after.
my hosting is same but due to upgrading package my ip will be change (maybe). My host has 99.9% uptime, fast servers and a good support team. what else a webmaster need. Thanks
He is referring to web hosting companies that have customers using spam websites, usually they are on shared servers which have the same IP that they all share; however it's silly to believe Google hasn't figured out a way to filter out the good from the bad, in theory you could just create a spam site on a competitors server to get them remove from results... just common sense.
Should not make any difference if you move hosting from one server to another. If you targetting a local market and want to come up in specific google searches, like from google.com.au - helps to have the site hosted in Australia (.au).
