Indian Members of parliament(senators) were offered Bribes of $6million-$25million By the govt. Ahead of a floor test for the Indo-Us nuclear Deal to switch sides. They flashed money an hour before the trust vote. What a Shame for democracy! http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,24030755-2703,00.html
Awesome... Thats why I love India. Politicians are real businessmen... they know how to buy and sell "everything"
Sure it does, but not in the dignified and sacred seat of the government. And definitely not so blatantly public. Hopefully such corruptions are nipped at the bud before it become a regular fixture in India government. With a booming economy, money is really easily available for the corrupted. Too much of corruption can derail the economic miracle we are now witnessing in India.
Look on the bright side, at least the Indian govt survived the No Confidence vote, an election will bring about another period of chaos, vote buying etc. Better to have a continuation of the government that has been managing the economy well.
Yeah it is, they should've walked up to the people they were trying to bribe instead of uselessly waving the money around.
