Hello If i were you i would choose clip-share, the thing i like most about clipshare is that it's not encoded and they don't have silly rules like don't put it on any adult sites (which phpmotion does.) It really depends, on other things. The reason I chose Clip-Share over clipbucket, phpmotion, vshare etc.. is because Clip-Share is 100% Customizable. Unlike the rest you aren't allowed to do much, yes they look better but you can't add what you want. The only thing I dislike about Clip-Share is their prices on somethings, but that's how they all are. CS encodes the script so that your script only works on 1 domain which I think is the ridiculous part of the script. Once you buy it you should be able to do what ever you want with it. But then again they could encode it to the point where there links would be everywhere just like PHPMOTION, Clip-Bucket and vShare. We generally wish to hear some facts to back up statements like yours. How would a custom made script bring better opportunities to a business? It will mean a slower and more expensive startup, these are the first things that come to my mind, and there's more to mention...
If you want to get serious about it you need to treat it like a real business cause believe me if you treat this as just a hobby I guarantee it'll always just be that, just a hobby that may make you a few bucks a month. If you go at things with a real budget and a plan of attack on how you'll bring it to market then you'll atleast go futher in the internet race than 99.9% of the people that are after the pie. Take that how you want, my advice is hard because it's in relation to the real world.
