Hi All, I have a small doubt. Lets say - I have a website that went into Adsense's Smart Pricing category. Now, if I add another website to my Adsense account (lets say a new website), will it automatically be placed by Google into smart pricing category ?
Hi Its the site who have been smart priced, not the account. I have tested it. Please continue this thread about how to avoid smart pricing...
Does that mean if i have 2 sites with one niche paying 5 cents and other paying 50 cents per click...then if i m smart priced,my all niches will be paid at 5 cents per click? Is is that way?
Really? Are you sure? I've just never heard of that before, it seems it's always the account that is smartpriced. That's why people keep several accounts, so that not all their sites are affected in case of smart pricing on behalf of one of their sites.
Just search about Google Smart Pricing, every single person says, its an Account which get Smart Priced.
I'm not entirely sure about that. Google states that: "With smart pricing, Google will adjust the cost of your content network click based on the content network site's relevance to your own site" (https://adwords.google.com/select/afc/pricing.html) Where does it say that it's the account and not the site that gets smartpriced? (Not some blogger speculation, but reliable sources) I would be happy to be proven wrong as it would be very useful information. When the facts are clear, we are able to utilize the rule of reason and act on the basis of knowledge and not speculation - the latter would be the same as just guessing, and that usually gets you into a lot of trouble.
Smart Pricing is for site not account I know this coz i have experienced this one site earns 0.01 $/click and the other 0.15/click No one can avoid smart pricing ..the one way is to disable ads (or disable the access of site..normally proxy site)for certain locations like China,Iraq,Iran etc which yield less conversion rate clicks
