TWO NOVEL WAYS I Am Marketing My Website! :-)

Creative ideas. They wont result in significant traffic or revenue...so in a business sense they are pretty useless. But definitely creative.

 

That's offline marketing at it's best

You know, back when lockers were still free (in campus) and everyone had one, I do little strips of paper with the URL of my site and put it inside every locker

Amazingly, I got about 1000 uvs that day just from that I guess people told their friends, who told their friends, or something.

The only bad thing was that the next days it went down to about 100-200 I guess people just forgot about it. Still, I got decent Adsense earnings, which was pretty neat since it was my first time using Adsense

Does the first "beach marketing" way has a variance? such as we can leave the site address on..., not only beach?

 

2 new ideas, but the beach one isn't great because the memory retention of people on the beach is poor. People don't go to the beach looking to get new services or learn of new sites, and very few people carry a pen and paper with them so it's not the best way to market your site. I'll give you credit for a unique marketing strategy but I don't think it's worth the time you put in to write your name in the sand each day. Also I hope that you're doing it away from the shore, because then it'll last longer since the water won't be crashing down on it and will last longer.

Well I hate letting this one out but what the hell

Pay bills with checks or money orders write URLs on checks and bills. Those people are sitting at a computer putting the information in.

Also put your URLs on your money then spend it.

 

LOl nice idea. If i saw someone's url in the sand, I'd probably visit it too.
