Vista is better. Buy a new computer. Everyone thinks vista sucks just cause 1 person said it, they all jumped on the "cool wagon", since it's "cool to hate vista".
because you have to confirm everything you do twice..(example. start up a program, empty recycle bin, etc). If i dint want to do that task i wouldn't of click it.. extremely annoying.
LOL - I'm 46 years old, and it's BEEN A LONG TIME since I even cared what other people thought was cool. I've had a love/hate relationship with Microsoft for 25+ years. Hate 'em because they have no respect for their users. Love 'em because I've made a lot of money cleaning up thier messes. -- BTW, I am running vista on a new computer, it still annoys the crap out of me and has severe compatiblity issues. Imagine how fast the system would run with an efficent OS.
People who like vista are not real pc users, I guess they only use it web surfin, email and playing with windows paint. If they really used it they would know it's a pile of poo! Given the choice between a vista PC and an Abacus... The Abacus gets my vote. A damn site faster and user less memory and processor. And more reliable!
Vista sucks. I don't have an old PC - it's an ASUS G1S laptop. But vista still makes my life hell every other day. It is good for games though (after I kill all processes and use basic view) - probably because of my hardware anyway, so vista doesn't get any credit (maybe dx10).
I remember when everyone said bad things about XP and now everyone loves it. Same for vista now... you'll see in couple of years... People are not openminded race.
I hate vista because all the software that i work don't work on it and i dont accept changes until oldies stop working.
Technically, human beings are not a race. When you are asked for your race on a form, would you write "Human Being"? We are a species. Just thought i'd point that out, cause it annoys me how everyone says it... lol
Point is Microsoft shouldn't make everyone catch up with them by making their software unable to run programs that could run on previous OS. What is wrong with backwards compatability?
