Creating a VCC Using HDFC Netsafe Service (It is working again)

    Few days back HDFC VCC were not working with PP verification.

    Well don't know right now but I used VCC of Netsafe for 3 years ago from my Bank Account to verify and I think it is great if you generate own VCC card from HDFC Bank account so in future you not need to worry if they asky papers.:)

    How do you link HDFC Virtual Credit Card for funding Paypal transactions ? Paypal doesnt allow Indian users to add funds to the account with credit card or bank account so it has to be linked to a credit card.

    According the info on HDFC site the card is valid for 48 hours so do you add a card to Paypal everytime you want to purchase using Paypal ?

    I won't login to my account when shopping. Instead I'll use the credit card option.

    Yeah I understand it can be done that way but still Paypal is required sometimes like regular monthly subscriptions. I dont see how that is possible with a virtual card with only 48 hours validity.

    Anyway thanks for providing the information on HDFC :)

    PayPal won't charge monthly fees. Even if they ask for account statement we will be able to provide it since HDFC shows the same in account statement. Just take a copy of the document and send it to PayPal.

    But the only req. is the virtual credit card must be generated from your own HDFC account...

    Few days ago when I tried I wasnt able to verify my accnt using the HDFC VCC. Are you sure that it works now??

    I had verified my PayPal account on 18 July,2008. I had contacted HDFC regarding this and they had solved this issue.

    So instead of making new threads here. Telling the problem to them will solve it easily.:D

    VCCs are used to verify Paypal since 3-4 years..whats new with that u did.....and many people sold the HDFC Netsafe VCCs to others like me who also verified ma acc...

    The VCC can only be used for verification....in Paypal.....u can not fund paypal with it.......

    Few months back, there was a problem and netsafe was not working. Now it is working again, that is the news!

    Yeah, vcc can not be used to fund paypal. But for most Indian freelancers/ webmasters, it provides the opportunity to verify the account so that they can receive unlimited amount and withdraw to bank account.
