Bored in work.. cant do anythin that obviously doesnt look like work.. any sugestions? EDIT: keep it clean xD
Well.. you could open MS Paint and mess around with the colours. Or you could open MS Word and type "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" 999 times and see if you come out alive. You could mess around with the Computer's scientific calculator and give it impossible equations like the exponential of 9999999999999999999999999999. It'll lag and screw up your com and guess what, can't do work anymore. Either that or go to the toilet and sleep.
Find a nice e-book and read it, while keeping your hands at the keyboard. I usualy take like 1 hour to read the forums and than going to read, do not listen to any music if you want to be able to hear if someone is comeing behind you so you can swich the applications and pretend to be working. Also if you have a printer and you are working in a team - grab some documents and pretend to be going somewhere to discuss something. Even if you are going to the WC go there with a folder under your arms (and be sure onone see you go inthere), this way you will look very productive and concened about work. I suggest you read some good Productivity and Lifehack Blogs, when bored. Or, play some flash games or browse over to Bored.com
Trade some stocks. If you get caught, say you were going to put the profits towards something for the business.
