It's a blackhat method called referral spam. It's a program called PRStorm most likely, and they send refers to your site to try and get backlinks from your awstats.

There's also a Firefox plugin called RefControl where you can set the referrer to your domain, when you browse it automatically drops your URL in the sites referrer log.

At least to it this way so you don't accidentally send 500 RefSpams per domain lol.

LOL, my rep power is low or none, but we can't say the same about his spammig techniques.

After all, what are we doing here in this topic?

For me 500 referrals from a domain with the name blackhat in it was somewhat disconcerting to say the least. Please don't do it again. Test on your own domains.

The SOB got my server also. I blocked the freak in my routing tables by running this command as root..

    /sbin/route add -host 66.225.211.249 reject

I also reported him to the abuse contact for his IP range

    OrgAbuseEmail:

and reported his domain name for phony whois data. I also contacted R. Lee Ermey's management to let hem know some geek was using R Lee's image on his wonky site. Let's see how he likes that.

I dont play around with these teenage punks who think they're funny with their little games. This pimple faced geek needs to get banned from any hosting company that would have him because it can cause a serious backlash against them. I don't gve a rip about apologies because he should have never done it in the first place.

btw, did anbody look at the site?? pffft... what a blinky wonker.. I'm Bompa, I'm a Black Hat expert... hahah... what a dork. :D
