Every link you check/browse shows up in the stats.

Almost all the networks have some holes or the other.

As long as they pay you correctly, fine.

    talk soon.

    It might be international redirects.

If some one clicks on a link from a country where the offer isn't available then the person can get redirected to another offer.

I would have to agree. I continue to see clicks to "Survey Scout" in my reports, but I have never advertised it.

I am getting the survey scout clicks too. Probably just something wrong with maxbounty. but heck, if one of them shows up with a paid lead, I am sure not going to complain to maxbounty about it. If they want to fix it thats their business

Like I said its probably an international redirect. Check the offers you are promoting and see which countries they are available for. If you get traffic from any other country it is redirected so that you can at least get a chance at a lead for the click you generate.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know that you are correct, it is the international redirect. Whenever any of your surfers click on your links from an international area we redirect the offer to one that allows traffic from the country of your surfer so that you can still monetize the click. We have a handful of different redirects for different countries, if you would like to know what countries redirect to what offer just send your AM an IM or email and we can get you the list.

thats actually pretty funny, but not real good for us, they click on one of our links expecting something, but because of the country they are in they get something completely different.

yah lol. Will probably work if its incentive but we can't do incentive stuff. So yeah pretty much when the guy clicks the link, he knows for sure what to be seen hehe.

maybe untargeted traffic is being redirected to regional offers?

All merchants want traffic targeted to specific countries, they only want countries they can monetize. More specifically, they DO NOT WANT any foreign traffic at all. Every CPA network redirects foreign traffic away from merchants that do not want it. The option is either to send the surfer to a dead page where no one earns, or to an offer which accepts traffic from that country. We choose the latter option to give our pubs a chance to earn some cash with the redirects.

So for example if you're advertising a free ipod campaign which accepts USA traffic only, and a Canadian surfer stumbles on your link, he's taken to an offer which accepts Canadian traffic.
