Joel now says that you can have both google adsense and Kontera ads on the same page without violating TOS. He has also written a new ebook called "Kontera Adlinks Secrets" If you would like to see about this new ebook of his and purchase it, PM me for the link.
There was actually a very long discussion about this on my site. Michel Fortin and Google went back and forth in several emails. The conclusion is that Kontera Adlinks are a legitimate way to further monetize your AdSense pages. http://www.adsensechat.com/showthread.php?t=1198&highlight=kontera Joel
This is great--I will have to try it. Never had too much success with Kontera, but they don't take up an extra space so I'll give it another try.
By the way. Kontera still works quite nicely. Just got a $5000 check from them yesterday for last month! Joel
But Joel, How many sites do you have with Kontera for the five grand? I'm guessing 100, 1,000 I doubt it's less than 100 am I correct?
The number of sites is irrelevant....a better question would be...how many daily visitors to your website/s and how many total pages they got?
Very nice, I assume you have to spend alot of time to maintain those two sites? To make that nice little side income...
But i guess they were developed years back right? websites "born" some years ago and have some "history" are generally better ranked and more popular among users to mention a few.... Getting started with a popular website "today" from scartch is far harder from some years back - at least if its not something revolutionary, or have your own network of website that will give that little boost...im not saying that its impossible but it gets much harder today... Cheers!
I agree with you build website generate money Today is really tough and people have million option select the best. I see some gurus teach about build thousand blog farm and divert to our money page website for better rank and backlink..In overall I don't see any simple way to monetize easily if our website/blog just 10 days launching on the net..
There is definitely an advantage to being around longer. But people either need to build sites and go for it or not bother at all. I still think it is early in the game. There are still tons of people and businesses without a site. If you think it is hard to get into it now, just wait five years. You'll consider this easy by comparison... Joel
