Okie Dokie peeps! I am a theme developer for Nokia and I am good at that and also in blogging I guess....

Anyway, I was wondering if I should get myself into the domaining business....

Since I always got help from you guys/gals at DP, I though you will be the best judge of situations...

So please, at your convenience do help me out...

My first question about .NET domains, are four letter .NET domains worth anything more than regular price?

I am not talking about cash.net or say word.net kinda domains, but domains like sddd.net or abca.net something similar.... I hope you understand woot I am tryin to say...

But how much are you expecting to get after like six months? What does the domain trend say? Any clues?

I think the min you may get for Quad Premiums will be like 15-20$ after 2-3 months.

what are your thoughts on triple premiums, if they make sense for a number of common acronyms? Any thoughts on their value, now and future?

save your money, dont follow trends because they are being hyped. ask yourself if it makes sense. end users drive real price changes, resellers simply pump prices and then someone gets screwed

It will take some time for the random LLLL nets to rise in value.
If you must invest, go for CVCV.nets. Their value is minimum $70 now. They will most likely double within the year.

Consider LLLL.net as a long term investment.
Right now value of LLLL.net is nothing (as compared to LLLL.com). Get them in bulk and hold them atleast for an yearor two.

Getting some aged LLLL.net will certainly be a good investment. :)

Hmmmm so the advice is to hold on to .net domains for a year and go for .com domains instead?

Let me ask you this... If I had a llll.net and a lnll.com ...which one should I get?

    i think llll.net.
I have llll.net of age range 9-10 years old. due to this age factor i am expecting some good ROI in coming months. :)

.Name domains sounds just weird... never bought any... and like everyone advised me to do.... BUY .COM!

Best of luck though!! I do hope that you get good value for all your domains :)
