Your favourite font for webdesign

I quite like Verdana for the body and Helvetica for the titles...

Verdana seems to have a nice amount of space between the characters - ideal for reading on a screen...

And Helvertica is the all-round general usage powerhouse font :)

You download Gary Hustwit's documentary on Helvetica below:

Honest to God, who would have thought a font could be so interesting!

My bread and butter fonts are Verdana 10-12px for web, and Myriad Pro for print.

I used to be a Verdana person too :)
Now I lean towards Calibri for reports, very clean font in a PDF

    Normally?

    12px Verdana or 12px Arial.

I have used Tahoma before, also.

Myriad, and if the user doesn't have it Verdana... :) Either 10px or 12px depending on the design.

I only really use Helvetica Nueue TT 12px for all my websites. Used to use arial before but started to like Helvetica and I won't use anything else now because I think it looks much nicer.

Verdana and Trebuchet Ms, I love Sans-serif fonts as they look clear and neat. But some of Sans fonts are great too.

Verdana is a font designed for web browsing. I think it's meant to be the most readable font on a computer screen.

Arial or Times titles, depending on the website's style.
Verdana for body all the way. Arial is a too too condensed at 12px.

Cooper black for some of my titles : )
Zapfino for flair... like cooking, fairies, flowers, funerals...
Gotham for cleanliness... feels like an engineer.

Of course, I can never use the fonts I love, esp when they are not free (century gothic I look at you).
So I do verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; most of the time
    however watch out
Verdana is larger at the same font-size than Arial or Helvetica! So there will be a rather noticable difference between machines!

When doing serif, I love georgia, which also has a larger size per font-size than Times New Roman (though not so huge as the difference between Verdana and Arial).

    georgie, baskerville, "times new roman", serif;

Sometimes when I need a goofier font I add some UNIX ones in too, so I can see what I'm building : )

It's not a standard font is it? It cant be guaranteed to be installed on a web users machine, therefore I don't use it for main text.

I use Tahoma or Verdana for most text, and use Gerogia for headings sometimes.

Arial 11px is my favourite font and size.

Georgia looks great on Apple Macs, but not so great on PC's.

With fonts like Trebuchet and Verdana, I go through phases of liking them, but I always fall back on Arial.
