I have never posted in this section before, but I figured you guys are my best bet for solace.

Some SOB has come along and ripped off my landing page, completely.

I spent valuable time hand-coding that page and writing the pitch, and in comes this guy using something called "Site Sucker" (that's what my logs show) who pinches everything, lock, stock and barrel.

He changed my header graphic but that's it! He even left in my title tag which still reads as my domain

    < snipped >

I mean come on, has this thief no grasp of the english language? Can he not write his own pitch? (or html?)

BTW, he stole an older version which doesn't convert so well, so ha :p

    What a jerk...

Do you guys think I should complain to my aff. manager about this? Is it worth it... anyways, he doesn't have my keywords.

    Thanks for the advice

    Rik

I bet atleast two more people are going to copy it after seeing your landing page, which is why you should never do show quality LP's. Also, what is the affiliate commission you receive?

You might be right, but you know what?

I've built good pages before, and I'll build good pages again. The other guy however ...

The other guy has stolen good pages before and will steal good pages again. In all seriousness I feel for ya man. It sucks to put time and effort into something, knowing someone else will be reaping the benefits of your hard work, at no gain to you. Surely its a waste going after him over it though

Find out who hosts his domain, send a legal warning to the host and registra saying if the domain is not removed immediately you will start legal proceedings against both them and the user who stole your work for copyright infringement and loss of earnings.
