I have a page to put reciprocal links...My wondering was:is there a limit on the links placed in the same page? Does google punish any site that has a page with many many outgoing links (say 50 links?) Many thanks!
No... but Google will only crawl so much information. Four years ago I believe the crawl was limited to 101 KB... I'm not sure if this has changed or not. BUT... the better question is: Is this page useful to my readers or am I just creating this for Google rankings. Don't get caught up doing too many link exchanges... too many won't help with your rankings.
100 external links max or get serp punishment...why would u not have another page to put links on....strange...
I think there is no effect on your page ranking if you place more links on it but the site you are linking to will have less PR weight from your page . More will be the number of Links the lesser will be the PR weight assign to the Links placed on your page . Regards, MB
According to me on one page we should add 30 links when you complete 30 links on you one page then create your next page and add links on it. It just my technique which I'm using when doing link exchange

There are many sites with having many links on the pages. Until they are relevant and useful, I don't think, you will be punished for it. I mean, that your own place.

actually you don't need to worry about these thnkgs , just keep on building more backlinks and have fresh and new content everyday at your site.. And you sure will get higher postition in google
