The design is simple and clean! You might want to add some graphics to the header, in particular, to spruce up the site a bit. A nice background graphic would create a bit more appeal also and remove some of the white space. You also should add your metatags to the site <head></head> tag (description and keywords) for search engine optimization. Hope this helps!
What Kind of web graphics would you suggest? where do I find them? Also, when I am finished with the site, I will want to start exchanging links with other sites, but I don't have the time to do it manually, where can I find a free link manager to install on my site? I downloaded linkex and installed/uploaded to my website (my other one) but I can't seem to figure out how to add to my link pages Tina
Well, I pretty much agree with him. You might also want to increase the header's height. Right now, I feel that it looks a bit squished compare to the sidebar.
I appreciate all of your opinions,and I will take your advice. I do not know anything about designing a website and I am using bluevoda website builder, but there is so much I don't know. I suggest you learn some real HTML, CSS, and also dabble with Adobe PhotoshopCS3 for graphical work. It's too plain, no matter how good your content will be, you must have a decent look to display.
