Yeah supposedly so he could get a useless philosophy degree right? LMAO Most people go to college cause they don't know how to make money in the real world or they think it will help them in politics or business somehow and not because they want to learn or experience the world. And here this guy throws away a perfect moneymaker that people would kill for, in the pursuit of hearing idiotic professors talk crap about philisophical issues. BTW I have a bachelors of science degree in computer science, so I can say these things.

you dont know what your talking about.

"The name 'Google' is a play on the word 'googol,' coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner. A 'googol' refers to the number represented by a 1 followed by 100 zeros. It's a very large number. In fact, there isn't a googol of anything in the universe -- not stars, not dust particles, not atoms. Google's use of the term reflects our mission to organize the world's immense (seemingly infinite) amount of information and make it universally accessible and useful."

It shocks me to hear that someone actually paid John Scott for his v7n.com website.

I find it difficult that all the member's of V7 never questioned where all the staff kept going?

The only staff member to actually make it through John Scott's manic depressive states is ChicGeek...good old Laura.

V7 is based in Japan and when I started working for them a while ago, it only had two staff members...John and one other. Within a few weeks the company had about 8 employees all working like little drones in John's apartment to build his webdirectory7 and various other blog sites. Once all was completed, he quickly fired everyone without so much as a days warning or severance package.

No body dared question this as over the course of our time with V7, John continually boasted how he had been in jail from the age of 16 to 20 for killing a girl. That along with other tall stories that we didn't know whether to believe or take as bullsh!t.

It is not a surprise that John didn't disclose his Paypal history. His Contextual Links program when down the drain with the introduction of several Indian Companies offering the same service at a fraction of the price and in the whole time I worked there he never had anyone actively seeking banner ad sales. We occassionaly got an email request but nothing came to fruition.

I am not a disgruntled employee, just someone who thinks it's a shame that all of the effort that went into building V7 was done by some great, hard working people who were then simply kicked to the curb and out of a job with no warning whatsoever.

John has been married 4 or 6 times and has equal amount of kids. He claims he loves kids, but I have never seen him once talk about them let alone spend time with them. He does however have a love for whores, frequently hiring the services of young Japanese girls to come to his apartment after work.

I really hope that the new buyer got the REAL figures about V7 before buying.

This sure sounds like right. In V7N's forum I noticed that something's really not right, in the forum one person simply dominating everyone else - John. If someone dared to say anything against him, they were gone faster than one can blink.

Oh yeah, I'm extremely pleased about this. V7 was great when it started out, but as the others here have said it just sorta went south. I'm confident that Mr. Lee will get v7 back up and running once again!
