Batman: The Dark Knight Any Good?

    The Batman: The Dark Knight movie comes out in the United States in about 5 hours and 20 mins (According to the counter at the link, and at the time of the making of this thread) So do you think it'll be any good? Will it live up to Batman Begins?

    People from Australia should be able to tell us since the movie's already out there.

    And No Spoilers!!!

    I am sure it's the best batman ever! There's alredy talks of an oscar nomination for Ledger.

    Can Oscar's be given to dead people? I guess they could give it to the family but I'm sure some other actors would say they gave it to them just because he died.

    I would imagine you could receive an oscar posthumously. It's probably even happened before.

    the movie is already out here but i didn't watch it yet! but when i saw the trailer it is really astonishing and different from other batman sequel!

    I've got my tickets in hand and am heading out to see it in about 30 minutes :) The majority of critics, and my friends who have seen it already are all going on about how great the movie is and how well Ledger played the Joker. And yes an Oscar can be given posthumously. It has happened before, and from the sounds of it, it might happen again this year. I'll let you know his afternoon what I think of it.

    In with the first Batman: The Dark Knight review.

    Great. Long. No Harley Quinn. Heath is an amazing Joker. Whereas Jack was the Clown Prince of Crime this Joker is much more the psychological menace. He is in tune with what brings a city to its knees on a mental level. His fight is to bring the citizens of Gotham to do the unthinkable. If you saw the possible image of 2 Face that I posted a couple months ago, you saw 2 Face. That was a the real image.

    The Dark Knight Movie Sucks. Read the review to see why. It's plain and simple terrible. Bad acting, bad special effects, boring with long talk and no action most of the time. Quite easily the crappiest movie of 2008. Death of Heath Ledger was the only reason it got over promoted and everybody wants to see it.
