Which payment method you like to use. We also offer domain registration and accept E-Gold, LibertyReserve.
Namecheap.com & GoDaddy.com are some of the best ones available for domain services. Apart from them, I also use DomainSite.com
QUOTE=elena55;8564688]LOL!!! I shoulda said that [/QUOTE] Google it is not exactly a helpful reply at all by the way. Name.com is the cheaper deal out of Netfirms or Yahoo which I will never recommend you because you will find nasty surprises for the second year. The following cheaper registrar after Name.com is 1&1 if you don't pay attention to the horror stories spread out there since I have been client for over 1 year and I haven't found any of those issues people say. Next in the row from cheaper to expensive, Domainsite, Dynadot, MyDomain, and GoDaddy, as far as those I have tried with English interfaces. There are some cheaper European registrars but based in German speaking countries with no English translation facility.
elene55 had some good ones. Except for 1and1.com. Everything operates so slowly and your domains take 2-4+ weeks to transfer of registar. I transferred some names over and it took 2 weeks foe some and up to 4 for others. I like name.com or GoDaddy .
www.ohashi.info/registrars ive got a pretty detailed comparison of the main registrars there, hope that helps
Assuming you are referring to registering a domain, as opposed to buying one (resale)... there are many registrars to choose from. A few factors to take into consideration: 1) What you intend to do with the domain...If you plan to resell it down the line, or push it to someone for whatever reason...then 1and1 would NOT be a good choice...unless your client does not mind the "re-registration" fees. You'll want to use a registrar that supports free member-to-member "push". Most do...1and1 does NOT. If you plan to keep it for your own use, then the point is moot as "re-registration" would not apply. 2) It may be safer to choose an established, reputable registrar...lesser registrars come and go and could end up taking your domain name down with them. 3) Your means of payment...if you are not a credit card user, the pool narrows down drastically. Some registrars accept alternative means of payment; e-gold etc 4) If you need certain features like Whois Privacy, certain registrars like Name.com,Namecheap.com,1and1.com include them at no additional charge. Most other registrars charge. 5) If you plan on reselling at some point, there are certain registrars that are "the favorite few" among buyers in most forums and on many auction sites. I'd say generally: Namecheap Godaddy Moniker Name Domainsite Enom Fabulous Dotster/Mydomain Dynadot (there may be others not named here) .
Godaddy, Namecheap, Enom, Dynadot, MyDomain, Dotster, iDotz, Register.com, Moniker, Tierra.net, Fabulous, NetworkSolutions - just to name a few
If you are just flipping, I use name.com - its cheap and easy to use, since I'm always flipping domains, I'm never looking for anything where I need hosting.
