    Hi there
I am a newbie in this whole marketing thing(there I said it) and I wanted to create a blog on Blogger.com about cellphones and I was wondering if it is a good way to start off and joining cj, adsense and other sites to earn some cash. I am creative, I can create interesting content but I need to be sure this is the right way to go. Please if anybody can suggest some other useful ideas that would be useful. thankyou:)

If your totally new to the internet market then i would suggest you do start of with a blogger site, however i would recommend for anyone that buying your own domain and setting up your own wordpress would be a lot better in the long term.

I also suggest you read up a lot, if you have not already. Read up on every market your interested in, read forums, articles, blog posts everything.

I've got a number of Blogger blogs. Mostly, these are content blogs that link back to the related Web sites. Blogger is excellent for creating those backlinks! But, the constant "threat" no matter how remote, for them to cancel your blog? That's what keeps me from going much further with Blogger. Anytime you set up an outside 'entity' whether it's a Blogger blog, or an ID on one of the social bookmarking sites, that gives you the opportunity to create lots of backlinks to your real Web site. Backlinks coming in from Blogger or Myspace or literally hundreds of great sites, including forums, really gets your site's name 'out there.'

For your cell phone site, which BTW looks very nice, perhaps consider a series of blogs, and break down your categories. You can link between the blogs, as well as to your site... and I DO recommend that you get a good domain and set up a real Web site. You can get an INFO domain at Godaddy right now for two bucks. And you can host it very inexpensively, many places on the net, including Hostgator. I really think folks will not take things seriously, without an actual site.

    Hope this helps.

Definately get you own domain and hosting, on host your own wordpress or joomla, almost every hosting company have quick installs for them + these things go for so cheap now a days !

Well it's great that you have got things started. For the long run you will be more successful with a domain name.

ask in forums that are mobile related and look for know bugs that each model has... i did a mobile review lately of the w890i on my blog but ould write loads cos i knew all about it...defo use a star rating system, percentages are just pretenious...

i dont think a hosting domain is too important although maybe it depends on the price of the poducts your reveiwing.

cool, thanks guys for your suggestions. I was thinking of making it a site about mobile news and also make some video reviews of phones because my friends dad has a shop and can pretty much get any model. and by making video reviews, I'll post them on youtube, watermark them to my website and voila I have a way of driving more traffic.

I would recommend to every newbie play around with blogger, then buy your own domain and install wordpress. Wordpress is just magic maybe ill write an article about it soon.
