How do you guys over come a Google Slap? One of my campaign min CPC went back up to 10 dollars min bid? Do I have to work the history back up, or is there a way to do it faster?
Improve the quality of your pages. Read their adwords guidelines and make sure you comply with each and every item.
Well we're adding content to the pages now. I seriously doubt that is going to make a difference like right away, but I'll give it a try. I added a Navigation bar...
The very fastest way to get your ads turned back on adwords at the normal or close to normal cpc is to ... - Buy a new domain (do research first, don't buy one that may have been slapped before) - Copy & paste all the info from the "slapped" website into the new domain, changing out the domain info where it may show in the content - Turn off the "slapped" campaign for at least 30 minutes -- turn it off while you are copying & pasting. - Change out the destination URL & Display URL to the new domain's with the old domain's info - Lower all the bids to .01 - Keep the campaign turned off for another 30 minutes after you have changed out the domain URL's - Turn the campaign on -- check and see what is required to "activate" your keywords -- should be around the same amount that you were paying before. - If the required bids are still high, turn the campaign Off and wait another 30 minutes and try again. - They should be showing at low activation requirements -- if they don't then the domain you purchased may have been slapped ... Or, this "fix" doesn't work anymore. If the amount to activate the keywords are around the same amount as before, adjust them to a bit above the activation requirement. Disclaimer -- The above has worked for me numerous times, but I have read where it doesn't always work. It is the "quickest" fix -- but you should also review google's page / site quality requirements and try to get your "new" site up to their standards. At the very least, your site should have an "about" "privacy" "contact" "terms" page linked from the page that is being used as a landing page. Hope this helps and good luck!
Good advice given already, but if you have something that is a real website offering real unique content, you should be fine in the future.
They have to be manually reviewing the accounts. Anyways I updated the landing page with unique content I'm hoping that will get things back on track?
I added about 10 outbound links to other sites that was an educational resource. I also added a nav bar that had contact us, about us, and etc.
