Clickbank Anti-Conspiracy Mojo

Just a little milestone to share and to encourage others. This is my first Clickbank Welcome screen where I have a sale on every single day, and it has taken just about 6 months to get that far. This has given me what I like to call Anti-Conspiracy mojo, which means that now I can't complain that:
    • Clickbank is Stealing my Commission!
    • Adwords is full of ClickFraud!
    • Spyware is changing my cookies!
    • EzineArticles are Nazis!
Now if I have a bad day, all it means is that I had a bad day. It is amazing how much sales trend over the long run. After I finally had 3 months of solid sales, I was able to analyze them and find consistent dead periods, when I was spending advertising without sales. It's also baffling how uniformly an ad/article ---> sales page will convert over the long run. The ups and downs are dizzying, but the rate is pretty standard over the long haul. Thanks for listening, and good luck to all those struggling!

About 80% PPC with 20% Bum Marketing. If I had more free time I would make the Bum Marketing pay for the PPC, so it would all be profit. But at least I have got to the point where I have banked enough from ClickBank to keep the PPC up the entire two weeks before the next ClickBank check. I always hated having to pause my campaigns because it was 5 more days until I got a check from ClickBank. Anyone else have similar experiences?

Congrats :D. Did you use article marketing as well? One of my successful clickbank friends' use article marketing to a great extent to drive their CB sales

Good stuff. And you make a great point. It's easy for us to get our heads spun around by the daily ups & downs. But we really need to look at a larger amount of information (that is statistically significant.)

Bum Marketing = Article Marketing, and it is a great way to get started, if you don't have money to throw at PPC. It took me a while to really figure out the keyword research, and getting on the first page of google, but more importantly, getting on the first page of google for a keyword phrase people actually search for. The new keyword average search volume figures in adwords is an extremely powerful tool. Anyone else tried it out yet?

Yeah I tried that tool quite a few times...for on page seo :) But I'm too lazy for bum marketing..it might not involve moving my bum but does involve brainstorming my brain :p

Wrong. Bum marketing is NOT the same as article marketing. I got so annoyed at this concept I wrote a freaking report about it, lol.

You might as well read it --> http://lemonarian.com/DefinitionOfABum/

Other than that, nice stats man, but try promoting offers with higher payouts... you could be making three times as much as you are, with no extra work. It's not harder to sell a more costly product.

I think I tried seriously promoting about 5 products before I found one I could make money at. The product I had the most success with so far is one that I actually felt compelled to buy the product after reading the sales page. Now I do need to find a higher paying product and try to repeat this success. Did anyone else have trouble finding a Second successful niche? Any advice?

Right now I feel like I actually have the boat afloat, and am scared to rock it. But nobody ever got rich by not rocking!

yes i know that feeling.. during my first weeks at CB and PPC I was literally staring at my adwords campaign and hope I wouldn't have to pause it..

now as I figured it out a bit better and CB checks come in every 2 weeks I can keep on funding ppc and I'm even thinking of starting to promote other products also.

From first appearance that sounds logical and no it's not "harder" to sell higher priced products but conversion rates for higher priced products are generally lower as well. Better to track your earnings-per-click(EPC) to see which are the most efficient.

Anymore advice for getting your second niche up and running, I'd hate to burn all my profits on a niche that won't go anywhere. How many profit streams do you guys have? I can't imagine how many different sources I would want to have to make this my 9 to 5, although I would be able to work on a lot more stuff if it were. Comments?

You don't need to promote hundreds of products. You can simply increase the budget of your current campaign, and you will be earning more from the same product, if it's profitable, as you are saying.

Not quite as simple as that. I only promote one product now, and I use Placements in Adwords, not Keywords, so there is only so many converting placements available. Anybody else use placements in Adwords, I don't think it is bad as people make it out to be.

I haven't personally tried Placement targeting, but I hear people saying good things about it.

Well, if you don't want to increase your budget, then try to find something similar to your product.

    Same niche, similar problem....
