Hiya, I come here after my brother who is a clothes designer said if I wanted to build a fashion directory this was the place to come for advice but as soon as I did I got red reputation accusing me of having duplicate account. It might not mean much to people but I feel upset by this as I don't have duplicate accounts and have never been here before. Why did I get this and is this what I am to expect?
Don't worry about the "red reputation." Just post your questions and someone is bound to answer them.
I understand but it makes me sick that I get red reputation and told this but I don't know why this is not fair and puts me off even posting here. dcristo, this was red rep not red flag, it was from someone who would not give a name. I want to stay here but am not up for this type of thing.
Well, you need to realize that this is just a forum. An online forum. No matter what anyone says to you, it shouldn't hurt you emotionally. This is very frank, but get over it. I don't see anything wrong with you.
It might be what dcristo said, but really, just don't worry about it (unless you have the same IP, then it might get the mods onto you, i'm not too sure how that duplicate account system works), it's only a rep comment, if your going to get upset if people red rep you then it's not going to be a great thing for you being on here.
I don't care about red reps at all I just care about being part of a community and ask for and share nothing more and I don't think that's too much to ask? Should have said, my brother does not have account here that I am aware of but if he did would that be a problem?
red or no red, i think there is no place like digital point hence i'll only suggest that you forget about the red and remain on here. go out there and it is even worse

Its because you're looking into using phplynx. There are some sad idiots on this forum that hate the people who promoted that script. The owners and promoters were banned, so they assumed you were one of them. Ignore it.
You can click that minimize icon and never even have to see your reputation remarks. Then since you cant see it, no big deal.
It is a simple red flag, it wont hurt you or anything. i have gotten several myself, but just ignore them (unless you get a lot) and move on. They expire sometime.
So if did end up going for phplynx am going to get this all the time? I was looking at three or more scripts and as yet have not even made my mind up. I will not be put off by idiots as you call them and will do what aaron_nimmocks and minimize them it. Funny to see three grey ones in a sequence straight after never mind I will let it go over my head. One's who count are ones who will offer help no matter what way I go. Guess you can close the thread now you won't see me whine anymore.
I am new but as a newbie I have already gotten alot from this forum . I have recieved helpful tips tricks and advice . I have read articles on here and came up with great ideas for myself . Thank you DP keep up the good work . Please do not get discouraged .This really is a great place .
