Will organic traffic have an effect on our PPC converion code? The reason I'm asking for is becuase we are installing it on our affiliate merchant site?

You are asking if organic traffic will effect your 'ppc conversion code'? Why would traffic effect your code? I don't think I understand what you are asking exactly.

Because it is on the affiliate merchant site. How is the merchant site going to know the traffic was from PPC or SEO with out some type of variable passing?

The tracking code has to go onto the affiliate merchant site not our own site since it's a affiliate site.

organic traffic will not have effect on PPC conversion code IF you're tracking the conversion through PPC. If you're tracking thrugh analytics (not speciflcally ppc), then you may have some problems.

I assume you're using PPC Conversion, and therefore you shoudln't have any problem with organic affecting data

I just looked into it a bit further and I see how it works now. It inserts a cookie then the javascript from Adwords detects the cookie to make sure it was a ppc hit.

Yeah it won't affect it at all.
