I have started a site for my business services (seo,web designing etc).But how all I can market it ? We used to get few works from DP.But they are so low cost. Will I get clients by marketing my site ?
Well local small newspapers are a good way to advertise your services as are press releases. Also word of mouth is a good way, have some business cards printed up and hand them out to every person you come into contact with during the day even if you don't know them.
I think you would be wise to looking for work offline. I've found that you can charge much higher rates and get clients alot easier. Try going to your local chamber of commerce, and stopping by at some local businesses with some materials on your company. If you want to stick with online marketing efforts though, you're best off developing a blog or authority site of some kind that attracts clients by giving away free information.
