Need Help: Link Unit Blended with Menu, Okay or Not?

I'm building a new layout, and I shaped my menu around a link unit like that.

"Anuncios Google" = "Ads by Goooogle" [it's in the local language]..

Anyways, the reply I got from google is that..

But people tell me that it's fine, so I'm not sure..

And if this were true, how many of Joel Comms sites are in violation?

Is it alright or not?

Well, you have to decide who to believe - the words directly from Google, or random people on the internet. Note that some of the people who are telling you its "fine" may not have had their site looked at by the Google Adsense people recently, so they may actually get in trouble for it somewhere down the line.

 

You'll only understand when they ban you.

 

If i were you i would most definately listen to google ( "the people who are actually incharge of adsense") before i would listen to ANYONE on the internet..


Or anywhere else for that matter.

 

I think their reply already states all that you want to know. Basically if it looks confusing to get visitors to click on your ads, that would be deemed illegal.
Hmmm...in your case, I would space it out a bit so that there won't be any issue with it.
