    Hi,

We have a website which is #1 for some good keywords in Belgium (about a 1000 visits a day from Google.). Now we have a personal server so we would like to transfer all our website's to that server.

The problem is we are not sure if it will be disastrous for our rankings since the IP-adress will not be the same anymore.

Does anyone has any experience in this?

From my personal experience you will not be loss your SERP by changing the IP.
So go on.And keep doing some more link building to keep you SEO updated.

It can not be a problem if you continue your SEO exercise for your site. So after changing the IP keep link building process and other activities of SEO.

You won't have any dip in traffic.

Only thing that can affect your serp rankings when it comes to IP is bad neighborhood. I would have advised you to have a thorough check on IP status if you were moving it onto another server, which is not the case here.

Just ensure you do not have warez/pharma/porn related or any other illicit content on the IP you plan to host the particular site on. Take care of this and everything else will be the same if not much better :).

    RT.Forum,

In my personal opinion, please go to BST section and try to sell your service. Even before promoting any thing make sure there is contribution to the community from your end.

    Regards,
