Same here. I'm calling the business tomorrow. Tallum PMd me and said the guy announced him as the winner and took out fee for coding! That's wrong he didn't adjust the price the final price was $100 for the entire template! I can't believe he ripped off tallum either. and still no reply to me about MY LOGO. I RED REPPED HIM AND GAVE HIM BAD ITRADER I suggest the same for anyone else he made do the extra work! WTH? I made the logo and so you took it and put it in your site? That's horrible business. But I'm not going to do anything to you just the guy himself because he knew it was mine. I had to personally and continually modify it. He hasn't responded to me all day about it either. Other than the logo is perfect and he'll let me know if I won and that he wants all the pages ready for him. SO I WENT THROUGH THE HASSLE OF SLICING AS WELL! In fact it seemed like it was the only thing he wanted me to do. All his questions for modification were about the header/logo. And I get another reply about him PMing dropship to tell him to remove the logo. Not to be mean but a header/logo image can do a lot for a page. On top of that how can he trust you now that he knows you stole my freaking graphic? BAD ETHICS TBH I could've done the same logo as well, its obvious he went to hawkeye did a prt screen and then edited the logo, erased the board and boat sales words. Then entered all my info >.< it was a bad job too. The rest of template I give kudos on but it's annoying me so much >.<
I think we solved the problem in "peace" and everyone is happy,i have been paid for this contest(so i think i m the winner of it), and i think this contest should be closed.And about the similiarity about the logo of hawkeye it was made so because the webpage all was made for the same "company or whatever it is.." Rv have been changed in the logo, and then dropship will be online i'll send him the changes. Ok topic closed i think. Ok everyone, let's try and calm down. Here is what happened. I picked Tallum for the design and winner. He did not send me the sliced files so therefore we were in agreement of another price so I can pay for a coder to slice the file. If Tallum use someone else's design then I want to know about it and we can discuss this further. Please let me know. I apologize for not posting in the thread earlier about the winner, but I am now posting the winner = Tallum
A little bit late man, the damage is done. Not just for rebelagent of Tallum, but also to all of us that submitted a design for this #~@~ contest. Consider that man.
Actually I found out tallum was the one who took my design. Drop Ship accepted tallum design though. Drop Ship and I have worked out an agreement. As far as my issue, it has been taken care of. It was a giant misunderstanding. DropShip is fine. Tallum on the other hand decided to take my logo of the rv and use it himself because he thought it looked good. Which I'm honored and MASSIVELY offended at the same time. However tallum fixed the issue and told the truth to DropShip. Everything is fine now.
