Can anyone tell me definately if it is ok to use paid traffic services that offer human traffic to be sent to your sites that have adsense ads on them..

No one can seem to anwser this question for sure... I need to know...

Sure if it is from Yahoo, MSN, or Google. The exception to this is arbitrage.

Places like Traffic Swarm and other traffic swapping sites are not ok. Anything that is pay to surf, pay to click, etc. is also not allowed. Don't show Adsense on pop ups or E-mail either.

Google is looking for quality traffic. They are not going to get that unless it comes from natural links and organic search positions. Anything outside of this, and Google may not like it.

Organic traffic is fine. Traffic which comes through ads you have placed are fine. Purchased traffic is against the Adsense guidelines. From the official Adsense blog:

that means don't buy traffic where people have no interest in your site.
PTC sites are paying people to click on your ad.

you can use any respectful ad network to advertise your site.
google just has a problem if your site doesn't meet a quality standard to advertise.

for example,blogs and article sites would not be considered quality.
a forum or entertainment site would because it offers more then just a read.

Yes, i have come to that realization that paid traffic is bad for adsense just from reading around the forum. I bought some paid traffic for a couple sites that dont use adsense just to see if it would help sell products.

But, that does not seem to be helping at all. I think the best bet for traffic is either buying links on high traffic sites, and posting articles and general info around the net with your link in wahtever content you are posting. Will most definately help.

The more your site is easily found and visible by others should bring the right kind of traffic.

paid traffic is most bullshit form of traffic i feel.What good is that going to do u or ur site if the traffic coming to ur site is not targetted to ur niche?they are simply going to click on the ads for the sake of clicking (even if they click).That will be loss for the advertiser...which is not the right thing to be done.

 

Yes that is very true... i fully agree..

Im just trying to figure new ways to get traffic and keeping it consistently coming back. Obviosly new content is helpfull, but im looking for long term traffic and lots of it... I have seen that buying links is fairly popular, among the users on here.

But i of course I am always looking for better methods.

I using this method on promoting boring site or blog..

I make funny video using window movie maker and upload to youtube and put my url link at (More info) clickable expand -youtube right panel.

Since youtube belongs to google it index in their search engine as well.
The problem is the boring site is not related with the video and to counter on this matter look relevant I make one categories cover the issue.

In overall I see how important 3 second people/visitor first time reach on my page..If I fail make them attractive and impress them I fail on everything the site is failure..

 

You cannot place your website links in link exchange websites like link referral and so on. Coz, it induces invalid clicks/impressions.
